Charles Franklin Bolton, 86, of Ethelsville, AL, passed away, Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Generations in Vernon, Alabama.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS .Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with all arrangements.

Mr. Bolton was born June 23, 1938, to the late James Bolton and Vaudeen P. Price in Columbus, MS. He graduated from New Hope. Mr. Bolton worked 36 years for Ceco as a supervisor. He was a veteran of  the United States Army. Mr. Bolton was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. He enjoyed fishing, reading, feeding his hummingbirds, gardening and was known for his big blueberry and blackberry bushes.

Mr. Bolton is survived by his son- Frankie (Kay) Bolton- Ethelsville, AL and Pete (April) Floyd of Enterprise, MS; grandchildren – Sierra (Jed) Hickman- Millport, AL, Bryer (Kendra) Bolten- Vernon, Al, and Cody (Liz) Bolton;- Hamilton, MS; great grandchildren- Harley Hickman, Hensley Hickman, Brystol Bolton, and Walker Bolton.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Bolton, Jed Hickman, Pete Floyd, Cody Bolton, Bryer Bolton, and Danny Malone. Honorary Pallbearers will be Generations of Vernon, and close friends and relatives.
