Charles Lindburgh Conner, 66 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Conner was born October 26, 1955, to the late Daisy Nell Gibson Smith in Columbus, MS.  He was employed with Columbus Light and Water Department.  Mr. Conner attended college and played basketball while there.  He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Army and served in the Gulf War.   In addition to his mother, Mr. Conner was preceded in death by his wife – Irma Mae Conner, and son – Terard Humphries.

Mr. Conner is survived by his son – Raymond Humphries, Columbus, MS; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers – Jerry Conner and Dwight Smith.
