Charles A. Farr, 85, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luke Lawson officiating. Interment will be in Kingsville Cemetery, Detroit, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Farr was born March 28, 1933 to the late James Robert "J.R." and Onnie Mae Markham Farr in Detroit, Alabama. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Farr was a cameraman/ graphic artist for many years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother- Victor "Vic" Farr and sisters- Lee Sanders, Mildred Dyer, Robbie Jones Wingo.

Mr. Farr is survived by his sister- Frances Farr of Columbus, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his nephews, nieces and great-nephews.
