Charles Wayne Richardson, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Regency Hospital Meridian, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Richardson was born on August 28, 1939, in Columbus, MS to the late Roscoe Collins Richardson and Emma Ruth Richardson. He worked as a plumber and construction contractor. Mr. Richardson enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casino, and loved people and his dogs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his wife- Tommie Dean Atkins Richardson; son-Greg Richardson; daughter- Susan Milling; grandchild-Tyler Richardson; brothers- Billy Richardson, and Bobby Richardson; sisters- Laura Davis, and Ressie Lee Price.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his daughter- Kathy Richardson of Columbus, MS; son- Kenneth Richardson; grandchildren- Grant Duncan, Garrett Duncan, Barry Milling, Jennifer Richardson, and Alea Robertson; great-grandchildren- Madalynn Skyler Reese Richardson; Gage Duncan, Ellie Duncan, Jace Luther, Mason Luther, Haleigh Vail, and Kenneth Pate, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Crane, Guy Wilcox, Jimmy Frost, James Price, Mac Burke, Randy Collins.
