Charles Harold Westberry, 66, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Friday, November 22, 2019, at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Bramlett officiating. A graveside service will be Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Liberty Cemetery, Scottsboro, AL.

Mr. Westberry was born March 14, 1953, in Jesup, GA to the late Ruth Sapp and James Howard Westberry.  Mr. Westberry graduated from Wayne County High School in Jesup, GA, in 1971. He married the love of his life Marsha Bellomy on August 7, 1976, in Scottsboro, AL. Mr. Westberry worked at Weyerhauser for over 20 years and went on to work for Timken Company as a Senior Field Engineer.  He enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending time with his two granddaughters. Mr. Westberry was a part of HAM Radio Club, and was a member of York Rite Masonic Bodies of Columbus and Caledonia Masonic Lodge# 280 F.&A.M.  He attended Covenant United Methodist Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to his parents, Mr. Westberry is preceded in death by his brother Kim Westberry.

Mr. Westberry is survived by his wife of 43 years- Marsha Bellomy Westberry of Columbus, MS; daughter- Heather (Dominik) Fuhrmann of Georgetown, IN; granddaughters- Avery and Sinclaire Fuhrmann.

Pallbearers will be Mike Kirkland, Greg Proctor, Dwayne Wilkerson, Doug Hodges, Terry Sapp, Andrew Sapp, Jim Sentell, and Mike Soistman. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Kirkland, Jr.,  Jack Woodard, Steve Wright, Dr. Noah Fitzpatrick, Dr. Eli Hurowitz and Dr. Jason Dunn.
