Charles William "APAC Jack" Thomas, age 78, of Caledonia, MS passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Vibrant Church, 500 Holly Hills Road, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Vibrant Church, 500 Holly Hills Road Columbus, MS with Bro. Ron Delgado. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Thomas was born on August 9, 1940, in Maryville, TN to the late Elmo and Mary Presley Thomas. He worked at APAC as a plant supervisor for 38 years. Mr. Thomas loved to fish and hunt. He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and neighbors of Caledonia. Mr. Thomas also loved his church, Vibrant, and his church family. He was a faithful member of Vibrant Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers- Buster Thomas and sister- Janie Richardson.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of 55 years- Shirley Thomas of Caledonia, MS; children- Theresa Thomas Darnell of Toxey, AL, Cecelia (Steve) Honnoll of Caledonia, MS, Nadine (Grady) Lindsey of Maryville, TN, and Spencer (Tammy) Thomas of Maryville, TN; sisters- Vickie (Ralph) Goodson of Maryville, TN, and Liddle (Larry) Dockery of Maryville, TN; brothers- Bo (Polly) Thomas of Maryville, TN, and Teddy (Teresa) Thomas of Mobile, AL; grandchildren- Stephen (Kristen) Johnston, Samantha Barksdale, Lawrence (Brittany) Darnell, Thomas (Kelli) Honnoll, Anthony (Danyel) Honnoll, and William (Tiffany) Darnell; great-grandchildren- Riley Kate Johnston, Taylor Darnell, Landon Barksdale, Wyatt Darnell, Mackenzie Barksdale, Kayden Barksdale, Madison Barksdale, Blakely Honnoll, and Annabelle Darnell.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Johnston, Steve Honnoll, Thomas Honnoll, Wayne Presley, Anthony Honnoll, William Darnell, and Lawrence Darnell. Honorary pallbearers will be Walt Willis, Bill Lawrence, Nurses at Baptist Hospice, friends and neighbors of Caledonia, and Church family at Vibrant Church.
