Charlotte Nell Williams Browning, 72, of Steens, MS, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital- Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Browning was born on May 28, 1951, to the late Arthur Quinn and Juanita Jewel Moore Williams in Clarksdale, MS. She married Danny Browning on November 10, 1967, and was a member of Yorkville Heights Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Browning made a career in the banking and finance industry having worked for Sunburst Bank, Unisouth Bank, Citizens National Bank, Trustmark Bank, and retiring from Renasant Bank in Columbus, MS. She was a well-loved mother, grandmother and by all that knew her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister- Linda Goad.

Mrs. Browning was survived by her husband of 56 years- Danny Browning.; daughter- Darla  Short; sons- Danny "Bubba" Browning, Jr., Greg Browning; grandchildren- Jerran Hansen, Jesse Hansen, Mac Duncan, Triston Short, Nick Browning, Andrew Browning, Brayden Browning, Taylor Browning, Savannah Browning, Arleigh Browning, Hutson Larmour, Trey Browning; great-grandchild- Declan Milner; sisters- Cheryl Pugh, Martha Williams, Debbie Alderson, Silvia Tharp, Shirley Ellis; and brother- Buddy Williams.
