Cherry Kay Cook, 73, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at her residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Vernon Church, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Cook was born on October 29, 1945 in Columbus, MS to the late Kathryn Caddell Williamson and Hubert Williamson.  Mrs. Cook was a member of Mt. Vernon Church in Columbus, MS. She worked at Boundary Healthcare for 20 years as a Human Resource Administrator. Mrs. Cook enjoyed going to the W and eating, going to her life groups. She enjoyed go kart racing and going to the beach. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her husband- Boyd "Rusty" Cook and brother- Terry Williamson.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her son- Richard (Pamela) Bohon; grandchildren- Tiffany (John Patrick) Davidson and Savannah (Matt) Perkins; great grand child- Mima Perkins, brothers- Buddy (Barbara) Williamson and Steve (Judy) Williamson; sister- Ann Waggoner; and sister-in-law- Roma Williamson.

Pallbearers will be James Williamson, Chad Williamson, John Patrick Davidson, Jay Hodson, Denny Rutherford, Danny Holman, Richard Eairheart, and Matt Perkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be The Gate Keepers Sunday School Class, Eugene Hughes, Rusty House, Linwood Hughes, Bob Ward and Leslie Williamson.
