Cheryl Ann Clark, 62, of Columbus, MS, passed away at her home the morning of June 8, 2020.

Family and friends are invited to the Antioch Baptist Church, 6080 HWY 45 N, Columbus, MS on June 20, 2020 to celebrate her life with visitation from 2-3 PM and a memorial service to follow at 3 PM. Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL directing with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS assisting.

She was the firstborn to Burl and Ella Ruth Rhyne Wood in Greenville, SC. She graduated from New Hope High School and attended Mississippi University for Women before marrying Charlie Clark on March 17, 1977.  She loved reading and watching the chickens play.  She loved good country songs and the occasional mediocre rap song.  She was kindness personified and was loved by all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Ella Ruth Rhyne Wood.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Clark; sons, Neal Clark & wife Jess and Robert Clark; father, Burl Wood; sisters, Dione Scott & husband Paul, Alison Bryan & husband Karl and Natalie Wood; mother-in-law, Ann Clark Barksdale; brother-in-law, Bill Clark & wife Kathy and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
