Cheryl Watkins, 58 long-time resident of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at her residence in Loveland, OH.

A visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, Steens, MS with Bro. David Westmoreland officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Watkins was born July 23, 1961, to the late Edward and Mary Blaxton Knight in Kenosha, WI.  She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, Biloxi, MS, and worked in childcare for many years.  Mrs. Watkins was an amazing cook, devoted friend, and loyal mother.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her brother – Howard Knight.

Mrs. Watkins is survived by her husband – Russell Watkins, Loveland, OH; daughter – Brandi Watkins, Salem, VA; son – Ryan (Jennifer) Watkins, Blanchester, OH; grandchildren – Wyatt Watkins and Killian Watkins; brother – Tim (Belinda) Knight; sister – Sheila (Ronnie) Ray and Teri (Keith) Jones; sister-in-law – Joyce Knight; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ray, Keith Jones, James Knight, Clint Stinson, Duane Cross, and Jeremy Cross.  Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Jones, Rusty Stinson, James Watkins, Ronald Watkins, and Carey Watkins.
