Christian "Chris" Mogel Christian V. "Chris" Mogel, 46 of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mr. Mogel was Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5 – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Rev. Ed Knox and Rev. Ed Maurer officiating. Interment will be in Double Springs Cemetery, Maben, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. Mogel was born February 4, 1966 to Linda F. Mogel and the late Ralph E. Mogel in Hattiesburg, Forrest County, MS. He moved to Columbus 6 years ago from Jackson, MS and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mr. Mogel married Mary Ann Betts in 2008 in Carrollton, AL and was employed at Precision Tune Auto Care, Columbus, MS as a technician for the last 2 years. He was an avid Nascar Fan, he loved fishing and the Ole Miss Rebels. In addition to his mother, Mr. Mogel is survived by his Wife – Mary Ann Mogel, Columbus, MS, Son – Christian V. Mogel, Jr., Florence, MS, Daughter – Christina N. Mogel, Florence, MS, Step-son – Lynn Wade (Brandi) Stevens, Jr. of Mathiston, MS, Step-daughters – Amye Stevens, Columbus, MS and Teri (Eric) Maurer, Columbus, MS, Grandmother – Dorothy N. Benson, Brother – Stefan R. (April) Mogel, Bismark, Arkansas, Grandchildren – Zoe Stevens, Trey Stevens, Hazell Matlock, Cory Maurer, Hunter Stevens and MadaLynn Maurer, Niece – Peyton Mogel and Special Friend – Richard Matlock. Pall bearers will be Richard Matlock, Eric Maurer, Ronnie Betts, Jeff Turner, Gary Box and Rodney Cockrell, Honorary Pallbearers will be Baptist Hospice Staff, Ray Grandberry, Travis Berry, Dr. Mark Ellis, Dr. J.P.
