Christopher Leo Spencer, 57, of Port Orange, FL passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Granville Wiggins officiating. Interment will be in Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Spencer was born September 21, 1961, to Charles Spencer and the late Lois Foster Spencer in Kansas City, MO. He married the former Rebecca Melton at the MUW Carrier Chapel in Columbus, MS on August 2, 1997. While formerly living in Columbus, MS, he attended Victory Tabernacle Church. Mr. Spencer along with his wife were the owner of United LP Tank Inspection in Port Orange, FL and has been in the propane gas tank inspection industry for the past 37 years. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, rafting on the river and country dancing. He loved racing and watching NASCAR. In addition to his mother, Mr. Spencer is preceded in death by his sister- Diana Burk and brothers- Chuck Spencer and Terry Spencer.

Mr. Spencer is survived by wife- Rebecca "Becky" Melton Spencer; step-children- Rev. Bobby (Amy) Richardson, Cory (Amy) Richardson, Denver Wartes; grandchildren- Robby Richardson, Austin (Randah) Richardson, Taylor (Madison) Richardson, Laurel Richardson, Garrett Richardson; great-grandchildren- Landyn Richardson, Easton Richardson; father and step mother- Charles and Peggy Spencer; brother- Tim Spencer; sisters- Sandy Frazier, Cheryl Spencer.

Pallbearers will be Robby Richardson, Austin Richardson, Taylor Richardson, Paul Brown, Isaac Lee, Keith Lee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Taylor, Roger Carruth, Brian Hitchcock, Danny Hollis with Scotts Petroleum.
