Christy Brasfied, 53, of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 27th from 6 PM- 7 PM at Overview Place in Columbus, MS. Memorial Service at 7 PM at Overview Place, 70 Overview Drive, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Brasfield was born November 8, 1972, in Demopolis, Alabama, to the late Shelby and George Letson. She was of Christian faith. Mrs. Brasfield was a factory worker at Mt. Vernon for many years.

Mrs. Brasfield is survived by her husband, Keith Brasfield; daughter, Kim Vaughan; grandchildren, Tyce Brasfield, Kimper Vaughan, and Kyzer Vaughan; sister, Georgette Letson; nephew, Jordan Marlow; niece, Peyton Marlow; and nephew, Shawn Ramos; sisters-in-laws, Diane (Gordon) Gilliam, Lisa Brasfield, and Angie Walker; mother-in-law, Wendy Cantrell.
