Cindy Jean Beavers, 58, of Steens, MS, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Beavers was born to Joan Hughen Bays and the late Norman Bozeman in Montgomery, AL. She moved to the area in 1986 where she has lived ever since. Mrs. Beavers graduated from Vanderbilt with a Master's in Education and taught in the West Point School system for over 25 years. She was a member of the Mississippi Association of Educators (MAE), enjoyed traveling, reading, and loved watching college football.

Mrs. Beavers is survived by her husband-George Beavers, Steens, MS; mother-Prattville, MS; brother-Norman Richard "Rick" Bozeman, Prattville, AL; and nephew-Richard Chad Bozeman.
