Claude O. Gladu, 80 Resident of Columbus, MS, and Narragansett, RI. The son of Quebecois immigrants, Claude graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1958, Rhode Island College in 1962 (BA) and 1965 (M.Ed.). He had a 28-year career as a social studies teacher at Lincoln High School (RI) where he enjoyed and respected both his colleagues and students. Claude loved to travel and expose himself and his family to new ideas and cultures. Married to Dawn Gladu for 42 years until her passing in 2006, he leaves behind the love of his later life, Jane Eubanks Gladu; sisters Diane Payson and Anita Boie; sons Christopher and Dennis; daughter April-Dawn; and six beloved grandchildren.
