Clyde Junior Cantrell, 62 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A visitation will be on January 8, 2022, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Cantrell was born October 9, 1959, in Columbus, MS to Dellie Ray McCraw and the late Harold Junior Cantrell.  He was a longtime truck driver and enjoyed riding motorcycles.  Mr. Cantrell was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather.  In addition to his father, Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by 2 brothers – Mark Cantrell and Mike Cantrell and sister – Marilyn Cantrell.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his 2 daughters – Ashley (Brad) Ray and Heather (Michael) Oglesby; mother – Dellie Ray McCraw Cantrell; brother – Harold "Gene" Cantrell; sisters – Wanda "Tottie" (Lonny) Nickoles and Tanya Vickers; grandchildren – Hannah (Kristian) Mott, Bryce Hays, Preston Ray, Samantha (Nathan Dean) Oglesby, and Tucker Oglesby.
