Maria "Connie" Alsup, 73, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00- 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Mike Gambal officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Park in Starkville, MS.

Connie was born June 5, 1951, in Tarlac, Philippines, to the late Ignacio and Dorotea Miclat Taruc. She retired as a supervisor at Trustmark after many years. In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Connie is survived by her husband, Steven Alsup; daughter, Ann Marie (Shane) Sanders; sons, Paul (Tina) Alsup, and Neal (Niatorreya "Torrie") Alsup; grandchildren; Andrew Sanders, Victoria Sanders, Mary Sanders, Ethan Alsup, and Connor Alsup.
