Cora Elizabeth Dilley, age 93, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Trinity Health Care, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Al Hamm officiating. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Dilley was born on May 26, 1924, in Cliftonville, MS to the late William Harrison Gavin and Myrthle Estell Wright. She was a member of Victory Freewill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Dilley worked as an assembly line worker at United Technologies for 28 years. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dilley was preceded in death by her husband- Albert Peyton Dilley; son- William Peyton Dilley; sister- Frances Dodd; brother- Williams Harrison Gavin, Jr.; and grandchild- Meghan Dilley.

Mrs. Dilley is survived by her daughter- Susan Dilley; nephew- Ronnie Atkins; grandchild- Peyton Harrison Dilley; and sister- Doris (Marvin) Atkins.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Atkins, Gary Atkins, Steve Atkins and Clay Terrell.
