Coy Wayne Pitts, 74, of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, at his residence.

A memorial will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 6:00 PM at his sister's house- 626 Chesnut Street in Columbus, MS.

Mr. Pitts was born on October 28, 1948, to the late Andrey Noe and Marion Lawrence Pitts. He was a 1967, graduate of Lee High School in Columbus, MS. He was a football player. After graduation, he attended Ole Miss for a year. Mr. Pitts was a  veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his wife- Harriett Noe.

Mr. Pitts is survived by his daughter- Valerie Lawson.
