Cristina G. Mercer, 75, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Father Jeffrey Waldrep officiating.

Mrs. Mercer was born on October 26, 1949, in Manila, Philippines.  She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Mrs. Mercer worked in retail for many years in inventory. She was a military spouse and was married to Jack Mercer. Mrs. Mercer loved to sew, sing, and was a great cook. She would do anything to help others. Mrs. Mercer loved Filipino and Hawaiian dances. She enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics and the Columbus Pilgrimage.

Mrs. Mercer is survived by her husband of 53 years- Jack Mercer; children- Carla (John Person) Mercer,  Aimee (JD) Henson, Myrna (Kurt) Music, Aurea (David) Crespo, Analiza (Tim) Sullivan, Nelson (Lorina) Tajon, and Ana (Rolando) Casil; grandchildren- Russell Henson, Jacob Henson, Brandon Henson, Kevin Music, Catherine Music, Karen Music, Noelani Music, Donovan Crespo, Charlie Sullivan, Allie Sullivan, Harrison Rupert, and JP Person; and siblings- Caridad Velasco, Julie Courtney, Gil Gabriel, Juan Gabriel, and Juanita Mariano.
