Crystal Gayle Pyle, 50, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home with Pastor Ethan Boggs officiating. Graveside will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery in Vernon, Alabama. Lowndes Funeral Home will be directing.

Crystal was born July 23, 1974, in Milan, Tennessee, to William Vail and Charlene Matlock Vail. She was a member of Vibrant Church in Columbus. Crystal was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother. She spent a lot of time with her grandchildren, which she loved very much. Crystal always loved hosting family events at her house. She was the owner of Golden Glow Tanning Salon in Columbus, Vernon, and Starkville.  Crystal enjoyed going to their cabin in Vernon, Alabama. She loved growing vegetables, raising chickens, hunting, and fishing. Crystal loved spending time going to antique shops. In addition to her parent, Crystal is preceded in death by her father- William Vail; and brother- Randy Autrey.

Crystal is survived by her husband- Steve Pyle; daughter- Carlee Walley; son- Austin Middlebrooks; step-children- Jessica (Taylor) Nelson, and Brent Pyle (Carlan McNeill); grandchildren- Parker Walley, and Hudson Webb; mother- Charlene Matlock Vail; siblings- Julia White, Wendy Autrey, Mike Autrey, and Charlotte Russell.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Banks, Mathew Moore, Ty Huffman, Brent Pyle, John Gwathney, Jesse Middlebrooks, Taylor Nelson, and Austin Middlebrooks.
