Curtis Thomas Forrester, 49, of Ethelsville, AL passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 12:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Bubba Dees officiating and Bro. John Walden assisting. Interment will be at Furnace Hill Cemetery, Vernon, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Forrester was born on March 30, 1968, in Columbus, MS to Carolyn Faye Moore Forrester and Jessie Daniel "Danny" Johnson. He was a 1986 graduate of New Hope High School, Columbus, MS. and worked as a welder for Eutaw Construction for 10 years. Mr. Forrester loved life and was a very hard worker and enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He was a great father, husband, and grandfather. Mr. Forrester loved his family and friends and provided for his family any way he could. He was a strong believer in his faith and the Lord. Mr. Forrester was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mr. Forrester is survived by his wife- Cathy Forrester of Ethelsville, AL; daughters- Alyson (Cody) Pearson of Louisville, MS, Leslie Forrester of Guntown, MS, and Sierra (Billy) Bowen of Colorado Springs, CO; sons- Matthew (Brandi) Beamer of Caledonia, MS, and Nicholas Forrester of Belk, AL; grandchildren- Avery Pearson, Mady Pearson, Addy Beth Beamer, Riley Kate Russ, Cayden Pearson, and William Forrester; mother- Carolyn Forrester; father- Danny Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Forrester, Matthew Beamer, Christopher Moore, Bubba Russ, Frankie Bolton, and Cody Pearson. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Moore, Billy Moore, Terence Moore, Terry Fields, Larry Leavelle, Stacy Bush, Michael Bush, Dennis Moore, Joe Ables, Doug Forrester, Kenneth Pate, and Gary McManus.
