Emma Adale Nanna, 75 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Nanna was born June 8, 19  44 to the late James Chandler and Mattie Lorena Allen Howard in Crawford, MS, and lived in Lowndes County her entire life.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Mrs. Nanna enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.  She loved being Nanny and being with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nanna was preceded in death by her husband – Robert Joseph Nanna and son – James Odom.

Mrs. Nanna is survived by her children – Virginia (James) Harris, Columbus, MS, Elsie Bowen, Clarksville, TN; Siblings – Anita Cox, West Point, MS, Annie Chandler, West Point, MS, Patricia West, Amory, MS, Danny Strickland, MS, Barbara Davis, Columbus, MS, Faye Avery, Columbus, MS, Jimmie Nell Davis, Columbus, MS, and Francis Weathers, Columbus, MS; grandchildren – Kelly (Harvey) Lorraine Taylor, Jackson, MS, Roger Dale (Natasha) House, Jr., Columbus, MS, Frances Nicole House, Calera, AL, Haley Rougemont, Leigha Lowe, Alexis Branch, Bobby Bowen, Isaiah Bowen, C.J. Odom, Candace Odom; great-grandchildren – Jah're House, Deaudre House, Bryonna House, Cambria Carter, Joseph Hairston, Brensyen House, Sheyenne House, Jordyn Mitchell, Leilani Rougemont, Draken Lowe, Luna Lowe, Atlas Lowe, Amaris Green, Calista Branch.

Pallbearers will be James Harris, R. D. House, Jr., Jah're House, and Corkey Jones.
