Dan Miller, 66, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at his residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at New Salem Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. at  New Salem Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS with Bro. Mel Howton officiating. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hamilton, Alabama.

Mr. Miller was born May 22, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Jack Miller and Joyce Miller. He was a mechanical engineer at Westlake Chemicals for 38-1/2 years. Mr. Miller was very passionate about his career and loved everyone he worked with. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Caledonia, MS. Mr. Miller had a passion for old cars and loved to restore them, but most of all, he loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife- Shelia Frederick Miller; son- Dr. Matthew (Laura) Miller; daughter- Anna (Barry) Prather; grandchildren- Jackson Miller, Mary Frances Miller, Rook Miller, Daniel Prather, Benjamin Prather, and Millie Prather; sister- Michele (Jim) Simpson.

Pallbearers will be – Kenny Nichols, Frankie Frederick, Konnie Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Jeff Hood, Johnny Frederick, Jay Hudson, Jim Simpson, Steve Hall, and Tom Hurley. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Employees of Westlake Chemical.
