Danny McCool, 50 of Millport, AL passed away Thursday, June 05, 2014 in Columbus, MS. Visitation was Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services were Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 2 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment was at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Detroit, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. McCool was born November 11, 1963 in Lowndes County, MS to the late James M. and Ethel Faye Adams McCool. He worked for A & R Construction as a machine operator. Mr. McCool loved hunting, fishing, cooking, working on cars and he loved his daughter and everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed. Mr. McCool is survived by fiancée-Amy Hickman, Millport, AL; daughter-Lakelyn McCool, New Hebron, MS; sisters- Kimberly (Joel) Wright and Debbie Blanton both of Millport, AL; brothers-James E. McCool and David McCool both of Columbus, MS and numerous nieces and nephews . Pallbearers were Terry Hope, Perry Richardson, Ricky Gentry, Scott Watson, Richard Rast and Craig Barham. Honorary pallbearers were Brad Fortner, Jeremy Robertson, Joel Wright, Andy Bishop, Tim Welch and Tommy McCafferty.
