Danny Roy Tucker, 63, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, at his residence.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2017, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating.

Mr. Tucker was born July 7, 1954, in Columbus, MS to the late Earl Tucker and the late Dorothy Marshall. He was a car knocker for the C&G Railroad Company for 20 years. Mr. Tucker was a member of the American Legion, and an active member at the Columbus VFW. He enjoyed cooking at the Columbus Roast and Boast when he could. Mr. Tucker will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife- Sue Tucker.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his sons- Andrew (Leanne) Tucker of Columbus, MS, and Stephen Tucker of Columbus, MS; brothers- Dale Tucker of Columbus, MS, and Dennis (Rita) Tucker of Indiana; sisters- Donna (Danny) Parker of Tuscaloosa, AL, Lulu (Randy) Hayes of Palmetto, AL, and Dorris Morgan of Greenwood, MS; grandchildren- Aden Tucker, Alston Tucker, Haley Studdard, and Anna Studdard; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews- Casey Hayes, Daniel Parker, Robert Tucker, David Tucker, and close friends- "Catfish" Stewart Clay, Justin Kerr, and John Kerr.

The family requests that no flower be sent, but that memorials please be made to Citizens National Bank, c/o Andrew Tucker, 2412 Hwy 45N, Columbus, MS 39705, in honor of Danny Roy Tucker.
