Daren Coggins Daren Michael Coggins, 37 of Caledonia, MS passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012, at his residence. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 10 – 11 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. David Woods officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Coggins was born March 3, 1975, in Columbus, MS to Jacky and Priscilla Coggins. He worked as a State Law Enforcement Officer for the MS Dept. of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks for 11 years. Mr. Coggins was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, Caledonia, MS. He was also a member of the Organization of Christian Peace Officers and Lowndes County Wildlife Federation. Mr. Coggins was a 4-H shooting instructor, volunteer for Camp Rising Sun, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coggins is survived by his wife – Angela Coggins, Caledonia, MS; sons – Justin and James Coggins, both of Caledonia, MS; sister – Marnie Gayle, Columbus, MS; and niece – Carrie Gayle, Columbus, MS. Pallbearers will be Brad Farmer, Charlie Golson, Mark McCleskey, Chris Herring, Chris Bray, and Brian Enlow. Honorary Pallbearers will be cousins, fellow service members of Dept. of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, and New Hope Class of 1993. Memorials may be made to Camp Rising Sun, P.O.
