Darin Lee Daniel, 61, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Burial will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery, Kennedy, Alabama. Lowndes Funeral Home will be directing.

Darin was born June 18, 1963, in Jacksonville, IL to Shirley Heriford Daniel and the late James Junior Daniel. Darin was a shop foreman at MidSouth Signs, where he worked for 39 years. He loved music, collected video games, and was an avid gamer. Darin always kept an eye on the weather.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was a friend to all who met him. Darin is preceded in death by his father- James Junior Daniel.

Darin is survived by his mother- Shirley Heriford Daniel (Wayne) Stoker; brothers- Dana Jay Daniel and David Lyn (Candy) Daniel; sister- Davis Ann Sandahl; nephews- Cody Lloyd Daniel, Kaegan James Sandahl, and Aidan Zane Sandahl; niece- Alyssa Quinn Sandahl; and great nephew- Kaine Nutting.

Pallbearers will be Cody Daniel, Kaegan Sandahl, Zane Sandahl, Mark Pridmore, Brad Pridmore, and Scott Pridmore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees of MidSouth Signs, Lee Ashley, and Kevin Clark.
