Darold James Breaux, 63 of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2 PM at First Independent Methodist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Gary Shelton officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Breaux was born June 15, 1950 in Lake Charles, LA. Mr. Breaux moved to Lowndes County eight years ago from Lake Charles, LA. He retired in 2008 after being a self- employed roofer for over forty years. Mr. Breaux was a member of First Independent Methodist Church. He enjoyed cooking, landscaping, fishing and French music and was an avid Monday Night Wrestling fan. Mr. Breaux is preceded in death by his mother-Mary Lou Breaux, sister-Patricia Gachassin and brother-Neil Breaux. Mr. Breaux is survived by wife-Judy Breaux, Columbus, MS; father-Orford Breaux, Lake Charles, LA, father and mother in law-Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Clark, Columbus, MS; daughter-Rose Gammel, Columbus, MS; brothers-Brian (Angie) Breaux, Lake Charles, LA, Gerald (Jill) Breaux, Lake Charles, LA, Glen (Alana) Breaux, Traverse City, MI; sister- Theresa (Lynn) Breaux Delcambre, Loreauville, LA; brother in law-William Eugene Clark, Philadelphia, MS; granddaughter- MaKenna Grace Gammel, Eupora, MS; step brothers - Roger Henry and Robert Henry, both of LA; and step sisters - Lucille Gorham, Mary Cranford, and Jane Vlahogeorge, all of LA. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian, Gerald and Glen Breaux, Lynn Delcambre, Gerald Clark, William Clark, Ian, Evan and Zane Bailey, Jim Williams, and Brooks Pack, III.
