Darryl J. Shelton, 63, of Columbus, MS, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, April 25 from 2:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Freedom Church in Caledonia, MS. Service will be Friday, April 25 at 2:30 P.M. at Freedom Church in Caledonia, MS.

Mr. Shelton was born November 11, 1961, in Columbus, MS, to the late Marjorie Blake Shelton and Edlo Ray Shelton. He was a local restaurant owner for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelton is preceded in death by his stepmother, Jean Shelton; grandchild, Hunter Reed Rodgers; father-in-law, Charlie Skelton, and sister-in-law- Beverly Shelton.

Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife, Annette Musgrove Shelton; sons- Nick (Trish Lazarus) Shelton and Joseph Musgrove; daughter- Danielle (Tommy) Rodgers; grandchildren- Alicen Belsome, and Deacon James Rodgers; brothers- Phillip Shelton, Robert Shelton, Greg (Brenda) Shelton, Sean (Amanda) Shelton and mother-in-law- Onitta Skelton.
