David Guy Ashmore, age 78, of Ethelsville, AL passed away on May 17, 2018.  A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Tim Lee and Rev. Jordan Lollar on Sunday, May 27 ^th at 8 a.m. at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus, MS.

Mr. Ashmore was born January 28, 1940, in Columbus, MS to the late Louis Guy and Bethel Ophelia Strickland Ashmore.  He was a member of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church

Survivors include his wife, Neva Sue Lollar Ashmore; daughter, Wanda Jo Ashmore of Ethelsville, AL; son, Stephen David (Laynette) Ashmore of Preston, MS; grandchildren, Gilbert Guy Ashmore and Alicia Adell Ashmore; sisters, Evelyn Odum and Martha Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
