David Leroy Carson, 79, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Carson was born August 28, 1938, in Geneseo, IL to the late William Ferdinand and Clara Maude Claeys Carson. He worked as a tool and die maker at Harvester Works for 32 years. Mr. Carson was also a member of the U.S. Navy from 1956 – 1962.  He retired from Precision Parts in 2009. Mr. Carson was a member of the American Legion, Post 69 for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Carson was preceded in death by his Aunt Alma Mannon.

Mr. Carson is survived by his beloved wife- Peggy James Carson of Columbus, MS; daughters- Mary Treasure Arnold, Pamela Ann Salley, and Margie Carson; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister- Deborah Ann Severson; 2 nieces; and 2 great nieces.
