David Alan Lawton, 57, of Caledonia, MS passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, at his home.

Services have not been scheduled at this time.  Lowndes Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Lawton was born on July 31, 1965, to Ann Barksdale Cumberland and Kenneth Charles Lawton, in Panama City, FL.  He was one of those guys who never met a stranger and was always ready with some good advice.  Music and playing drums were his passion, as well as fishing.  He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Lawton and Carl Cumberland.

David is survived by his wife – Cori White Lawton; son – Charles (Shelby) Al Lawton, daughter – Alika White; grandchildren – Roland Lawton, Audrey Lawton, and Perry Lawton; mother – Ann Barksdale Cumberland; and sisters Deborah Owens and Connie Wood.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
