David Vernon Lynam, 74, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 1-2 PM at United Methodist Church, Brooksville, MS. Service is to follow with Pastor Kathy Brackett officiating.

Mr. Lynam was born May 18, 1944, in West Point, MS to the late Charles Lynam and Fanny Mae Osborn Blake. He worked at TXI- Cement Plant, then as a Security Officer. After that, he worked for Lowndes County as a Jailor, and then went on the road as a Truck Driver.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lynam is preceded in death by a grandchild- Robert "Rusty" Glenn Banks Jr.

Mr. Lynam is survived by his wife- Elizabeth "Sissy" Lynam; brothers- Kenny Lynam and Danny Osburn both of Kentucky; sisters- Becky Hennessy of Kentucky, Mary Southgate of Tennessee, and Johnnie Dean of Missouri; daughters- Dana Vail of Columbus, MS and Debbie Lynam of Indiana; stepsons- Charles "Chuck" Banks of Iuka, MS and Robert "Bobby" Banks of Columbus, MS; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
