Dawn Ruth Hatfield Gregory, 53, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, November 23, 2015, at Sanctuary Hospice, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Herbert Hatfield, Bro. David Pyles, and Bro. David Harrell in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Gregory was born August 30, 1962, to Herbert Hatfield and Ruth Roberts Hatfield in Charleston, WV. She moved to the area in September 1981 from the British Virgin Islands, and she was a member of Aberdeen Primitive Baptist Church, Aberdeen, MS. Mrs. Gregory attended Mississippi University for Women, Columbus, MS. She enjoyed taking care of her home and family, even taking the time to homeschool her children. Mrs. Gregory is preceded in death by her sister-Beth Halverson.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband-Roger Gregory, Columbus, MS; parents-Herbert and Ruth Roberts Hatfield, Aberdeen, MS; son-Aaron (Maya) Gregory, Columbus, MS; daughters-Leah (Daniel) Harrell, Starkville, MS and Ellen Gregory, Columbus, MS; sisters-Debra Hatfield and Rebecca (Joe-Ray) Young, both of Aberdeen, MS; brother-John Mark (Amber) Hatfield, Plantersville, MS; grandchildren-Evelina Gregory, Amos Harrell, and Gemma Harrell.

Pallbearers will be Charles Gregory, Darrell Gregory, Randall Gregory, Josh Halverson, John Howard and Jay Harris.
