Dawn Marie Kangas, age 46, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at her residence.

Ms. Kangas was born on August 4, 1972, in Tampa, FL to Bonnie Powers and the late John Gallo. She worked as a photographer for Sears, helped in a nursing home and was also a sales manager for Dollar General. In addition to her father, Ms. Kangas was preceded in death by her grandchild, Greyson Kangas.

Ms. Kangas is survived by her mother- Bonnie Powers Gallo; daughters- Kayla (Joshua) Guest, and Ashley (Robert) Ellis both of Columbus, MS; sons- Kody (Sasha) Kangas, and Sage Kangas both of Columbus, MS; brother- Anthony (Doreen) Gallo of Largo, FL; grandchildren- Laken Niswonger, Paysen Kangas, and Arianna Ellis.
