In Loving Memory of Deborah Roberts Bailey Moore

Deborah Roberts Bailey Moore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on June 4, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be held dear by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM, Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro Steve Lammons officiating.

Born in Greenwood, MS, Deborah had a vibrant spirit and a warm heart that touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Terry Moore, with whom she shared many wonderful years of love and companionship. Their bond was one of unwavering strength and support.

She was preceded in death by her sister- Shirley Scott and her parents- Staige Marie Roberts and Helen Bennett Roberts.

As a dedicated mother, Deborah poured her heart and soul into raising her children, instilling in them values of compassion, resilience, and the importance of family. She is survived by her children, Bill Bailey and wife Susan, Chrissy Poole and husband Rob, Sydney Slade and husband Drew, Terence Moore and wife Lauren, Chris Moore and wife Kallie, and Melanie Gardner and husband Triston. Deborah's love and guidance will forever remain in the hearts of her children, and her legacy will be carried on through them.

Deborah's grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She adored her Jackson, Kate, Oliver, and Henry Bailey, Morgan Taylor and Gage Villavaso, Katie, Peyton, and Charlie Claire Poole, Harley Rose and Houston Slade, Maddie and Emma Moore, and Aubree Pollard and Pratt Bailey and expecting another granddaughter in November, and great grands Reyna Poole and Lennox Hagel. Her love for them knew no bounds, and her presence in their lives will be deeply missed.

Deborah was a cherished member of the Delta Divas friend group from Greenwood, MS. Together, they shared countless memories, laughter, and support. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of friendship. She will be forever be remembered as a dear friend, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.

Deborah was an integral part of Tompkins Law Firm for nearly 20 years where she considered all her coworkers family. The family is so thankful for their support.

Deborah's departure leaves a void in the lives of all who loved her, but her memory will continue to shine brightly. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her tenacious but nurturing nature, and her ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the impact she made on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

May her soul find eternal peace in heaven, and may her family and friends find solace in the cherished memories they hold dear.
