Deborah Shaw Flora, 59, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shaeffer's Chapel United Methodist Church, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Shaeffer's Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Curtis Bray officiating and Bro. Bud Gordon assisting and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Flora was born October 8, 1956, to Arthur Shaw and the late Bessie Worbington Shaw in Greenville, MS. She moved to the area 15 years ago from Yazoo County, MS and attended Shaeffer's Chapel United Methodist Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Flora enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidering, and needlework. She also enjoyed playing with her dog Sassy.

Mrs. Flora is survived by her husband-Anthony "Mario" Flora; daughter-Shelley Cresswell (John Paul) Walker, Cleveland, MS; son-James Lamar, Jr. (Amy) Cresswell, Dyersburg, TN; sisters-Kathy Spencer, Delta, LA and Doris Howard, Columbus, MS; grandchildren-Kaitlyn Thomas and Fin Thomas; and father-Arthur Shaw, Columbus, MS.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Shaeffer's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Amercian Legion Post 69.
