Deborah Murlene Pardue Jones, 62, of Brooksville, MS passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her residence.
A memorial service will be Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Full Gospel Church, Vernon, AL with Bro. James Godsey officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Jones was born August 9, 1954 to the late Therman and Lois Reed Pardue in Mobile, AL. She was the owner of the Original House of Seafood in Vernon, AL and Southern Plantation in Columbus, MS where she enjoyed cooking in her own restaurants for 40 years. Mrs. Jones enjoyed gardening and loved playing with her grandchildren. She was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Jones attended Open Door Church in Vernon, AL. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister- Lisa Walker.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 45 years- Dennis Jones of Brooksville, MS; sons- Denny (Michelle) Jones of Ethelsville, AL, Brian (Crystal) Jones of Vernon, AL; daughter- Erin (Jeff) Patrick of Millport, AL; grandchildren- Austin Jones, Collin Jones, Michael Fortner, Eli Jones, Sarah Jones, Katelyn Russell, Isabella Jones, Malachi Jones; brothers- Arnett Pardue, Jimmy (Mary Jane) Pardue, Rex (Candy) Pardue all of Mobile, AL; sisters- Judy (James) VanDevender of Colorado, Rita Sudduth of Nashville, TN; parents-in-law- James and Helen Dunn of Brooksville, MS.
