In Loving Memory of Deborah Patricia Owen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Patricia Owen, who departed this life on July 17, 2025, at the age of 65, in her home in Columbus, Mississippi, following complications from surgery.
Born on November 1, 1959, in Laredo, Texas, to Elvira and Frank Jenkins, Deborah was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She grew up in Columbus, where she attended Leigh High School, and later planted deep roots that would blossom into a life filled with love.
Deborah was known for her kindness, creativity, and open heart. A talented florist, she found joy in crafting beauty from nature, creating arrangements that brought smiles, comfort, and celebration to countless lives. Her love of flowers and crafting was matched only by her love of the beach, where she found peace and inspiration in the rhythm of the waves.
Above all, Deborah's greatest joy came from her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvira (Veda) and Frank M. Jenkins, and her brother, Frank Jenkins.
She leaves behind a loving family, her sister Linda Jenkins, her daughter Laura Kelly, and son, David Christ, along with his wife Gene Luke. Her cherished grandchildren Gabriel (Gabe) Christ and his significant other Anna Sibley, Brianna Christ, Jillian Kelly, Kylie Christ, and Amelia Kelly.
She will be missed more than words can express, and remembered always for her affectionate spirit and warm hugs.
A private family service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Deborah's memory by sharing kindness with others and spending time with the ones you love.
