Deborah Dale Patrick, 70 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Buster Leach, Bro. Sammy Crawford and Dr. Drew Chapman officiating.  Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Patrick was born May 29, 1952 in Pascagoula, MS to the late Donald and Ruby Bosarge Dale.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church for the past 32 years.  Along with her first husband of 20 years, Michael Leach, they were house parents at Palmer Home for Children for many years.   She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University and was an avid Bulldog's supporter.  Mrs. Patrick retired in 2014 from West Lowndes Elementary School after 25 years of service, she also taught at Heritage Elementary. Mrs. Patrick loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her husband – Michael Leonard Leach and infant daughter – Mary Katherine Leach.

Mrs. Patrick is survived by her husband – Charles Patrick, Columbus, MS, who faithfully loved her for 22 years; children – son – Buster (Michelle) Leach, Birmingham, AL, Mary Allison (Drew) Chapman, Hattiesburg, MS, Kristin (Frankie) Jadzinski, Meridian, MS,  Kerri (Travis) Wampler, Tupelo, MS, and Keith Patrick, Columbus, MS; sisters – Patricia Shackelford, Grand Bay, AL,  Donna Dunston, Grand Bay, AL,  and Paula (Gregg) Lyle, Gautier, MS; brother – Art (Carol) Dale, Dayline, LA; 14 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Jadzinski, Travis Wampler, Keith Patrick, Harrison Wampler, Don Clardy,  Murff Davis, and  Bob Crigler.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Crigler/Spainhour Sunday School Class at Fairview Baptist Church and Patti Davis.
