Delanie Shay Hauerwas, infant, passed away January 21, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 12:00PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Higdon Church of God Cemetery, Kennedy, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Miss Delanie is preceded in death by her great grandparents – Roger and Donna Morgan and James and Vannie Lee Porter.

Miss Delanie is survived by her mother – Marissa Perkins, Vernon, AL; father – Justin Hauerwas; sister – Amelia Adams; maternal grandfather – Daniel Allen, Columbus, MS; maternal grandmother – Debra Tuggle, Vernon, AL; paternal grandfather – Steve Hauerwas, Florence, AL; paternal grandmother – Georgia Cargile, Caledonia, MS; uncles – Josh Hauerwas and Devin Peeks; and aunt – Mica Peeks.

Pallbearers will be Devin Peeks, Michael Peeks, Brett Clayton, and Dalton Beard.
