Delorce Abbott, 99 of Starkville, MS passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at OCH Regional Medical Center, Starkville, MS.
Mrs. Abbott was born October 2, 1919 in St. Clair County, ILL to the late Orville and Louise Toltz Moore. She married Carl F. Abbott on July 26, 1936 in St. Louis, MO. During World War II, she supported the troops by working as a riveter on a ship. Mrs. Abbott worked as a telephone operator for 30 years. She moved to Starkville, MS 33 years ago from Branson, MO. She attended the Catholic church. She was preceded in death by her husband - Carl F. Abbott in 1985.
Mrs. Abbott is survived by her daughter - Jeanette Koelling; sister - Bernice Bishop; grandchildren - Kenneth Koelling, David Koelling, Kimberly Horvath and Daniel Koelling.
