Diana (Di) Drane Revord made her final earthly journey on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at peace with her children by her side.

Visitation is Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.J. Chain officiating.

She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, raised in the Fairview and Clinton Hollow areas and graduated with the Class of '49 at FDR High School in Hyde Park, NY; she also attended Business School and MUW. In the mid-fifties her entire family moved to Columbus, MS, close to her dad's family and home-town. Diana was a dental assistant, spent years at various banking positions and enjoyed her contact with young people; notably 10 years with the "W" girls and 15 with the "guys and gals" at CAFB. Di enjoyed years of travel (in and out of the country) with friends and various groups. She treasured her many years with the Loft Choir at First Presbyterian. She loved adventure and fun with water sports, tennis, lunch groups, garden club, cards, chess etc. - a "jack of all trades, but master of none." She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Hilda Drane; brother, Bill Drane; and husband, Ned Revord. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Longanacre.

Her greatest love and joy in life was her four children: Kevin (Trudy) Glusenkamp (Columbus MS), Scott (Sherie)Glusenkamp (West Point, MS), Chellie Revord (Jackson, MS) and Marcie (Gerald)Waller (Franklin, Tn) and the close bond they shared. She adored her six grandchildren- Brian (Jessica), Heather, Matt (Casey), Sam, Aaron and Daniel; and her seven great-grandchildren- Austin, Collin, Julianne, Jake, Presley, Brody and Emma.

Honorary pall-bearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family is most grateful for all the prayers on her behalf.
