Donald Jackson Reeves "Duck", 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

A graveside service will be Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Vernon, AL with Rev. Walter Butler officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Reeves was born on February 25, 1939, in Monroe County, MS to the late Perry J. Reeves and Hettie Mitchell Reeves. He attended Bethel Baptist Church, Columbus, MS until he became a resident at Windsor Place where he enjoyed singing and entertaining the employees and residents. He was a truck driver for C.L. Harrison Trucking Co. Vernon, AL for many years.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves is preceded in death by his sisters- Edna Faye Reeves, Joyce Reeves Malone, and Norma Reeves Berry.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his brother- Ray (Ellis) Reeves of Gattman, MS; nieces- Cheryl Berry Plunkett of Ponchatoula, LA, Tina Reeves Crevitt of Caledonia, MS, and Connie Reeves Fowlkes of Amory, MS; and close friends- David Harrison, and Don Cassell.
