Donald Wayne Strickland,70, passed away, surrounded by his loving family on May 17, 2018, at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston, TX.

A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on the one-year anniversary of his death, Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 1:00 pm from Ebenezer Cemetery, 1216 Ebenezer Road., Millport, AL 35576. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory of Columbus is entrusted with local arrangements.

A native son of Louisville, MS, Mr. Strickland was born February 20, 1948, to the late Ernestine and William Strickland. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Army.

He is survived by his beloved wife: Pat (Adams) Strickland; son Jason Wayne Strickland; step children Pamela (Powers) Murray, David Powers and Greg Powers; and two sisters: Lynda (Strickland) Gillis and MaryLynn (Strickland) Gregory.
