Donna Lee Allen Halvorsen, 79, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - GT. Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10-11AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 11AM at the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Delgado officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Halvorsen was born April 4, 1936 in Wisconsin to the late Delta and Helen Roseburg Allen. She is of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Halvorsen worked in accounting at the Columbus Air Force Base for 36 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Halvorsen is preceded in death by her husband - Nikolai Martin Halvorsen and brothers - Nathan Allen and Norman Allen. Mrs. Halvorsen is survived by her daughters - Christy Dillon, Terry (James) Siegle, Vicki (Gaylon) Downs, and Nikole Moffett, all of Columbus, MS; five sisters; three brothers; grandchildren - Matthew Dillon, Tyler Dillon, Scott Downs, Cody Downs, and Kenneth Downs; great grandchildren - Damion Dillon, Daniel House, Isabelle Dillon, Dixie Downs, Elizabeth Downs, Ryley Downs, and Raylyn Downs. Pallbearers will be Matthew Dillon, Tyler Dillon, Scott Downs, Cody Downs, Brandon Criddle, and Austin Hacker. Honorary Pallbearer is Kenneth Downs.
