Donna Jo Henry, 55 of Columbus, MS passed away, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Henry will be Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 6 – 9 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services for Mrs. Henry will be Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating and Bro. Bubba Dees assisting. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Henry was born December 28, 1957 to Johnnie Ray and Margaret Lunette Butler Nickoles in Columbus, MS. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Henry was a bus driver for the Lowndes County School System for 27 years; she cleaned houses, and waitressed at Little Porky's Restaurant in New Hope and baked cakes for all occasions. She also enjoyed playing bunko with family and very close friends. Mrs. Henry loved taking care of family especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henry is survived by her husband - Buddy Henry, daughters – Kelly (Ken) Mason, Audrey (Jamie) Sullivan, son – Murray Henry, sisters – Barbara Nickoles, Margaret (Charles) Aldridge, brother – Rickey (Monica) Nickoles, grandchildren – Levi & Nelie Mason, and Jenna Beth & Hannah Claire Sullivan, all of Columbus, MS. Pallbearers will be Lamar Harris, Charles Aldridge, Butch Butler, Buddy Wyers, George Marshall, Jr., Rick Taylor, Rex Stokes and Carry Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Crane, Employees and Staff of Lowndes County School System, Northington Snacks, Inc.; Staff of Little Porky's Restaurant, Staff of North Mississippi Medical Center CCU and especially the Hospice, family and friends that are too many to mention.
