Donnie Crews

Donnie Gene Crews, 76, of Aberdeen, MS, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Caledonia Open Door Worship Center, Caledonia, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Caledonia Open Door Worship Center in Caledonia, MS, with Bro. Mike Dalton and Bro. Marvin Fuller officiating. Interment will be at Center Hill Baptist Church. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, will be directing.

Mr. Crews was born May 13, 1949, in Aberdeen, MS, to the late Willie Crews and Lalon Yarbough Crews. He worked as an aircraft engine mechanic for DynCorp for many years. Mr. Crews was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Caledonia Open Door Worship Center in Caledonia, MS. Mr. Crews enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling for family, going to church, and, most of all loved aggravating Brenda, his wife. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crews is preceded in death by his daughter, Candy Kaiser, and brothers, Jr Crews and Cecil Crews.

Mr. Crews is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Crews; children, Brian (Tina) Crews and Landon Kaiser; grandchildren, Michelle (Cody) Tomlinson, Hannah (Lane Hendrix) Crews, Allen (Megan) Crews, and Chelsea (Zack Beemster) Baird; great-grandchildren, AJ Crews, Abby Tomlinson, Ainsley Tomlinson, and Kam Michael.

Pallbearers will be Cody Tomlinson, Allen Crews, Robert Blackston, Zack Beemster, Matt Gann, and Lane Hendrix. Honorary Pallbearers will be AJ Crews and Bobby Bagget.
