Doris Nell Naron, 66 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Windsor Place, Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Rose Neath Cemetery on Swan Lake Road in Bossier City, LA with Phil Kerr officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Naron was born March 17, 1947 to the late Paul H. & Doris Mae Cleveland Burnett in Greenville, MS. She moved to Columbus 6 years ago from Benton, LA. Mrs. Naron was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Rotary Club and the Municipal Clerks Association. She was employed with the City of Benton, LA where she earned the recognition of Master Municipal Clerk and retired in 2007 after 12 years of service. Mrs. Naron enjoyed cooking and sewing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister-Betty Jean Wiggers. Mrs. Naron is survived by her son-John Michael (Melissa) Jenkins, Greenville, MS; daughters- Robin Michelle (Henry) McLain, Ponchatoula, LA and Amy Lynette (Matt) Hansen, Denver, CO; sisters- Mary Ann Stutzman, Elkhart, IN and Linda Dianne Kistner, Caledonia, MS; 7 grandchildren .
